The Halachic Organ Donor Society (HODS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives by increasing organ donation from Jew to the general public. It does this by raising awareness about the need and halachic permissibility for organ donation, educating the global Jewish community about halachic and medical issues surrounding organ donation, maintaining a global registry of 'Halachic Organ Donor Cards.

After 20 years of leadership, HODS' founder and executive director, Robby Berman, is stepping down and HODS is seeking a transformational leader to develop a blueprint for the organization's future. The new executive director will lead an effort to reexamine the organization's objectives, strategies, and tactics while seeking out new opportunities and community partnerships. He or she will identify target audiences and previously untapped sources of revenue/funding. HODS' new executive director will lead a thorough reexamination of the organization's educational objectives, operations, and funding with the specific objective of formulating a clear vision for HODS' future and a business plan for achieving its goals. The ED will then be responsible for the implementation of the business plan.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
• A personal commitment to Jewish tradition and respect for - and openness to - working across the denominational spectrum
• A graduate-level degree (MA, MBA, rabbinic ordination, etc.) or certificate in a field related to profit or non-profit management and/or Jewish communal leadership is preferable
• Experience with program assessment, strategic planning, and partnership with board of directors
• Proven track record of successful fundraising
• Strong communicator- verbal and written- and dynamic speaker
• Collaborative spirit that lends itself to relationship building with stakeholders and community leaders
• Well-organized self-starter with time/project management skills
• Proficiency with digital and social media platforms and messaging

Position: Full-time (with flexibility)
